Egypt aims to provide greater support for startups and MSMEs within the tourism sector seeking to explore new ideas and ways of working.

INITIATIVE

In partnership with the AAST Entrepreneurship Center, Egypt launched their Mashreq Tourism Incubator to offer comprehensive support of established and innovative startup ideas to accelerate the growth of these entrepreneurial businesses along the various levels of startup maturity.

IMPACT

The initiative supported 19 startups through 56 mentor training sessions and received USD 300,000 in investments to support future efforts.
