How to Apply for Travel for LiFE Certification

Step-by-Step guide to obtain the TFL certification:

Register on the Nidhi+ Portal : The unit should be registered on the portal and have a unique Nidhi ID.
Submission of TFL Certification Application: Tourism service provider should provide all the necessary information and documents while applying for TFL certification.
Desktop Assessment: After the successful submission of the application, a desktop assessment of the provided information and uploaded documents will be conducted. The desktop assessment will be considered completed only after achieving full conformance.
On-Site Assessment: A team of approved field officers will schedule a visit to the unit during the on-site assessment to further assess its eligibility.
Classification of Destination: Following the on-site assessment, the team of field officers will evaluate the unit's score against the category for which it has applied.
Issuance of TFL Certificate: The TFL certificate will be issued to the qualifying unit based on the assessment result.

TFL certification is integrated and currently live on the National Integrated Database of Hospitality Industry (NIDHI) Plus portal . At present, the certification is launched for accommodation units (11 categories), tour operators and destinations. The tourism service provider can either apply for a Gold, Silver or Bronze certificate.
