The Second Regional Workshop on Developing Sustainable & Responsible Tourism was held on 11.01.23 at Kolkata, West Bengal with an active participation from states/UTs, Industry, and Community Stakeholders of the East region. The state officials of the state/UT presented their best practices and challenges in Sustainable Tourism. RTSOI, presented campaigns to mobilize responsible tourist behavior and UNEP shared details regarding the Global Tourism Plastic Initiative and actionable ways to implement sustainable tourism. Sustainable travel Industry leaders shared their success stories and challenges setting the learning standards of the workshop high. CNA-ST had the honour of organising and conducting the sessions with great grace.
