Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in partnership with Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management: Central Nodal Agency for Sustainable Tourism (CNA-ST), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and Responsible Tourism Society of India (RTSOI) organized the North Regional Workshop on “Developing Sustainable and Responsible Tourist Destinations” in line with the National Strategy for Sustainable tourism and Green Tourism under G20 presidency on 22nd March, 2023 in New Delhi. The Regional Workshop is aimed to create awareness and build capacity of various stakeholders and prepare them for the implementation of Sustainable Tourism practices in the country. The Ministry shared the initiative of Travel for LiFE, STCI certification and Swadesh Darshan 2.0. It served as a platform for the stakeholders to interact and provide feedback on the current initiatives of Ministry of Tourism.
